Installation of Chain Link Fencing
1. Set a straining post at each end of the chain link fence and at each change of direction. Straining posts should be set in 24" deep holes and supported with stays all set into concrete.
2. Place intermediate posts at 6' intervals between the straining posts. Intermediate posts should be set in holes 18" deep.
3. Straining wire should be fixed to the start and end posts (at the top and bottom for 48" fence, 72" will also require a centre wire) then stretch the wire taught, next fix the straining wires to every post. For easy installation you can use our wire and ratchet kit shown below.
4. Unroll the chain link fencing mesh and secure one end to the straining posts, the mesh must now be stretched taught and then attached to the end post.
5. Finally clip or tie the chain link fencing mesh to the straining wires at regular intervals.
