MULTIPOST SYSTEM
Available to buy on line
Posts for fencing mesh come in various materials and styles. Timber posts are traditionally used, normally set in concrete. They can be obtained in pressure treated softwood which will resist rotting for a long time but it will decay eventually. Concrete posts are another option, again traditionally set in concrete. They will never rot but can be cracked by impact and are very heavy. Concrete and timber posts are both heavy and digging holes is hard work, therefore to make fencing more simple and easy in the garden, we offer our newly designed Multi Post. They are light to handle and are made with low carbon steel sheets with high adhesive plastic coating, giving a high quality and long life. These posts can be fixed into earth sleeves for easy and quick installation, we also offer a longer Multi Post for concrete fixing if it is preferred.
Whether using earth screws or concrete fixing it is important that at each end post and for any change in direction you must install straining posts with bracing.
Once the posts are installed it is simply a matter of fixing your preferred mesh to the system, you can use either welded mesh or chain link mesh. The welded mesh option is easier to fix as it requires less tensioning and no straining wires.
It is also important you choose the correct length of post for different height fences.
To make the Multi Post selection easier we have packaged Post Kits for 48" height and 72" height fences, they come complete with all the items you will need for each 25M straight run fence. If you have a change in direction you will also need 1 change in direction kit for each change.
Multi Post Fence Kits supplied with all fittings required including 10 posts and 2 straining posts for 25M roll |
